… Got out some top notch 12″ vinyls from the ol vault, as usual from the late 80´s or 90´s :):) …. The first track, “E.V.O.E. – Este Amor” is an assum sueno latino-ish funkster from Italy and came out in the very early era of balearic house, tune !!! … The classic “Don Carlos – Alone” needs no introduction to most, but it´s in the same vein :) … Some tasty Japanese-ish deep house from “Mr. Levan” … That phat “Crooklyn Dub” by “Mondo Grosso” :) …. The beautiful Vocal mix by “David Morales” on “Clubland” !! … “Soul Source´s” tasty “Double Exposure – My Love Is Free” sampling “Free Love” :) …. The proper house programed “Jordan Fields – Pump Fusion” out on Moody Records :) … Now my fave by a mile on this tape is “Cricco Castelli – Rendezvous At Cafe Kick” (Youtube) !!! a big secret track for me back in the day, and i picked up the whole album for that track alone :):):) (and got “A Day In Copacabana” amongst others as bonus :) … “Mixx Vibes Session 2” was the jam on that ep, but check out all “Mixx Vibes Sessions” if you don´t already have them, they can be found at Discogs !! … “MAW & Company – Gonna Get Back To You” came in various mixes, but the real juice was in the “Mood II Swing” dub” and the stonkin, chuggin “Ken Lou 12”, fab !!! … Grant Nelson´s early house track “Rhode House” sound fresher than ever when dusted of here, he he … “King Amazin´s” “The Shot” was another huge underground classic with it´s “Karen Young” Hot Shot sample (Youtube) ! … “Stephane A” and “Paul Johnson” got the jazz-funk sample craze and “Mental Overdrive – Cheese Royale” (Youtube) rocked the floor like there was no tomorrow !!! Also a groovy remix by “Björn Torske” on the flip :):) … “Kojak” did the French “Daft” thang on his LP version and “OnePhatDeeva” got a huge club hit (deservedly so) with “In And Out Of My Life” … Tasty shit, get em all // Tommy
