… Whata joy to mix this tape !! … Got my awesome opening track by “LK”, the mood & blues is set right here, simply the lesson to us all how a deep hauz track should be made … … My fave disco-troglodyte producer “Marcel Vogel” got this ep called “If You Like”, and i shurre doo, i´ve choosen the “B2-Instrumental” for the pure funk, + 6 pitched to get me in the mood … Check it at “Juno Rekurds” … The “Pletnev” track is just pure P-Funk for 2018 and shurre to be a fave in many sets to come … “Tender Games” got that disco-soul vibe i love so much, would have been a huge hit in the 90´s !!! Perfect for this tape might I add !!! …. The “Books” track is the same, assum proper disco-funk in a 4×4 vibe, “Taking Care Of Business” for shurre, totally stonkin !! … The “Jehan” track is a no brainer with it´s super funky back sample, this one is furr shurre a crowd fave, check it at “Juno Records” … Cajmere´s “Acid House” track is just the assum party track for the set !!! U need this in your own set, it´s just that good … Movin on to “Heerhorst – Umami” … This is just up my street, big bouncy funky beats & groovy bas … The whole track just Ooozes energy & is one of my fave hauze traxx this month, check it at “Beatport” …. DJ Koze “Pick Up” takes the lo-fi disco approach I love so much, just like Moodymann-ish disco, fierce … “Art Of Tones” got my body-to-body shakin 4×4 stompin real hauz track going on !!! Check this one at “Youtube” … Groove Assassin “Trinidad” got them beats, them beats, them beats !!! … We got “Haider” with the assum 808 acid thumper “Fukouttahere” …. The bruuutal “Romero” raw, raw crowd pleasin “Bang” (Love that one ) …. Chasse “Pilot” got me all exited, jazzy-funk, beats, vocal ?!? I don´t know :) … It´s just tooooo good !!! … check it for yerselfs at”Juno Rekurds” … Now whatabut “Inner Sense” “Motp” … Just love that track, like “Passion” by “Gat Decor”, but with a saxy twist !?! … “Nyra” got that Salsoul sampled kind vibe, a bit “Floorplan-ish”, and thats a good thing … The “Hammer” track is just that, disco-hammer, awesome 4×4 black plastic made to groove … Just when i thought it was safe i flipped the “Nyra” 12″ and hallelujah, it´s even better on the b-side … go figure :) … Get em all // Tommy
