Bumphrey Hogart – Blue Order (Subway Baby Re-Edit)
… My first beast !!! … My first big bass !! …. As a 14 year old kid i walked into the club room and never looked back. The sound of “New Orders – Blue Monday” changed my life. The big kick, the big bass, became the template for all traxx i wanted to have. This was in 1984 (for me) and music has warped and evolved a lot since then :):) … I probably have 40 / 50 mixes, re-mixes, re-edits, mash-ups & bootlegs of said track, but in the core of this piece of art is the strong melody and downright funky b-line !!! … This little “Labour of love” re-edit was just an idea i wanted fused !! … The instrumental of the awesome electro pop track “Dmx Crew – Come To Me” and the glorious Acapella of “Blue Monday” … Turned out they where made for each other :):) …
