… Dee-licious funk, soul & disco mashup heaven here …. Got my groovy intro track by Tommy Stewart, a slick rare groove jam to “hustle” around to … Then my own edit “daddy” cut´s up two tracks (sexy thing + every one´s a winner) to one sweet mash :) … Tania Maria is one of my most played tracks ever, even did a post here on this blog a couple of years ago, simply stunning groovy latin. This “Lego Dub 5 AM” version is like the original on steroids, + pitched 10 bpm´s & easy to mix …. Todh Teri “Sampadan” 8 & 9 are superfunky, almost balearic oriental disco funk tracks, get your hot 12″ at Juno soon … Computa Games “Rock Creek” & “Apache 3000″ is by far my fave 7” loopy ol´skuul cut up party rekurd, grandmaster flash himself would be proud, get it at Juno … Rune Lindbæk´s “Soper Star” is basically a thumpin re-edit of Pacific Blue “You Gotta Dance” from 1978 … Rune for Prez might i add … Waffles edit factory is up to number 007, and this ones a treat, no info, just check it, it´s delischhh !!! My faves are always on the B-side though ? …. “Space” are mostly known for their monster “Magic Fly”, but this is my choice, Mixed Up, funky disco, soo good, it could only have been made in 1980 … Check it at Discogs & the version I’m using in this mix at Youtube …. The Love Sensation Dimitri edit is a no brainer with it´s flirts to house & disco … Brown Brothers “Everybody Freak” is an assum re-edit of Chain Reaction – Dance Freak … You can check the 2005 edit vinyl, or download it right here at Juno Download, sweet … Amy Bolton´s “Do My A Favour” got that assum 80´s ignorance written all over it, funky bass “Blondie” would be proud of, check the version I´m using in this mix at Youtube … The same goes for Tony Cook And The Party People, an infectious bass hook & modulated silly vocals, this is how we got funny house records 10 years later … he he … Delicate Wash #1 “Web Objects” is too fuxxxin good, get your copy at Juno … Phyllis Hyman, even better, Dimitri for minister of funk ? …. “Knightz Of Bass” go X-trafunkula & kuul electro back in 98 …. … My Sunday tape … It´s bliss … Got that assum “Delicate Wash #1” EP for starters, many groovy traxx on that one, I´m using the “Oh, Michela” track for this tape & the funky “Web Objects” for my forthcoming “Bump N Boogie” mixtape … The “Dave Clarke “IVT?” is just “Mad Professor” going funky dubby Jamaikka style, love that track to death, check it at “Youtube” … We move on to “Helen” and that “Zanzibar” track, most people will play the remix, but my fave is the vocal original, check the 12″ i´m using at Youtube …. The “Orm” Lp is assum, and my fave track on that one got an Ashley Beedle re-edit to die for, check it at “Juno Records” … The “Mystic Jungle” Lp got so many cool traxx it´s hard to pick one out, but for this balearic mix the “Endless Road” was a no brainer, check the lp at “Juno Rekurds” … Movin on to the best Italian disco rekurd, funny & assum “Space Operator” …. If u name your rekurd “Space Operator” u know it´s gonna be good !!!!!! Check the version I´m using in this mix at youtube … That “Unknown Mobile” got the gruuv & the flute we want, got my vinyl at “Juno” … Kiwi “Amityville” is just the dunking donut of a track, beats & bass to die for … “Sharif Laffrey” got that infectious 80´s beat & the funniest samples around, there´s an “Acid Dub” on the B-side, but then you will loose the whole point, the vocals are what makes this track really cool …. Next up is my fave bass-line of the month by “Craxi Disco”, it´s all about the “James Rod” remix with a raaaaw b-line synth, I´m hooked for shurre, u can check it right here at Beatport … My buddy “Dr. John” was on fire back in 1984, the year i started buying vinyls, this is an instant fave “Hook”, and for me, an “Alltimeballaerikklassic” … he he …. Check the version I´m using in this tape at “youtube” … Tengrams “Translucent” is such an assum, almost deep house track, but with synths & noises from the 80´s, i choose this A2 track for my balearic mix, just love it, your vinyl will be at “Juno Rekurds” soon … The “Belly King” track got all my fave ingrediens for a “Must have” balearic track, this A2 vinyl cut smells like “Ibeefa 92” … Check the version I´m using in this mix at “Juno Rekurds” …. Movin on to my own personal edit of that “Fascination” track, a no brainer again, but the beats & riffs are so kooool !!!!!! …. Usually “Inner City” will be in the house tapes, but this gem was remixed by “Leftfield” and turned to the balearic crowd with a a bang !!! Sort of 115 bpm´s of UK drugginess, way cool, check it at “Youtube” …. “Wolfram” is just a remix of that Dee D. Jackson, “Automatic Lover” track i love so much … Done to perfection i might add … Get your own vinyl at “Juno Rekurds” … “The Hacker” is the best moody “Moroder” electro track on that Ep, if u don´t have the Vinyl, u can check it at “Discogs”, the version I´m using in this mix is here at “Youtube” ….. On that electro note, we got my fave “Emperor Machine” dub, just like a train of bass & betas, assum balearic track … This “Plustwo” “Melody” track is one of my all time faves, it´s like the dance track “The Human League” never made, proper 80´s disco on that one !!! The version I´m using in this mix is right here at “Youtube” …. Even cooler is the “Hysteric” “Etrange” track !! French silliness we love so much with assum vocals & greedy beats, check it at “Juno Rekurds” … Antacid “Jedi Knights Remix” is total world domination !!! How the hell can u live your life without this track ???? … It´s like the best, like, the b-boy, stompin, breakdancing, 1995, wedding, like, I´m all out …..
